Welcome to The Woods at Barnitz

An Amazing Development Community Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains

A Wonderful Place to Live in One of Pennsylvania's Most Desired and Thriving Communities

Stunning Custom Homes

How The Woods at Barnitz Began

This land was purchased by a partnership between the families of Wilbert (Wib) Diehl and Donald Group. Both Wib and Don have lived in Cumberland County for over 80 years and their families even longer. Wib left this earth in September 2014 at the age of 83 years with this project well underway.

To say both he and Don were excited about the project would be minimizing the depth of their commitment. They were relentless in their pursuit of Township and DEP approval. There were many hurdles along the way, but this stunning development has finally arrived!

The Diehl Family no longer retains an ownership interest in the development but remains invested in the overall success of the community.
